2010 Year of the White Tiger
2010 The Year of the White Tiger will not be a year for the FAINT HEARTED!

Many Feng Shui Masters look upon this year as unfavourable due to the White Tiger being seen as the most ferocious animal in the Chinese Horoscope. Another superstition is that the Tiger year when spoken in Cantonese sounds like "bitter", symbolizing hardship, misery without joy. |
Some Masters will even go as far as to say that during a White Tiger year you shouldn't even get married or start a new business venture, as it will be bring on challenges that need extremely hard work and perseverance to overcome.
In Classical Feng Shui we interpret the White Tiger year slightly differently. The year is looked on according to the relationship it has with the elements that also influence the activities for the year.
In 2010 we have both Yang Metal and Yang Wood elements present, which have an opposite relationship to each other. The Wood element encourages new development and growth, but with the opposing Metal element this will be more difficult than normal
This is reflected in the 2010 Global economy with the world desperately needing positive growth, but the metal element restricting it into a very slow recovery year.
Not the best indication for anyone contemplating a new beginning, however not impossible if you have the resources to stay the course and the determination to succeed
Homes and businesses that have the Easterly aspect will fare much better than those with a South / West aspect.
Those born in the year of the Monkey will find the year especially challenging.

Each book has an easy to use but not commonly known formula created by a famous Hong Kong Feng Shui Master as a bonus. This can be used at your front door and is particularly applicable to those who live in apartment.
